1. Who we are

Rezna (“Rezna,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates rezna.ai — an AI-powered job matching and hiring platform. We connect job seekers with employers based on skills, experience, and cultural fit.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly

• Account information — name, email address, password
• Profile information — resume content, work history, skills, education
• Cultural Fingerprint data — your responses to our 15-question assessment across 5 dimensions: Work Style, Environment, Values, Communication, and Leadership
• Job search preferences — target role, industries, location, salary expectations
• Documents you upload — resume files (PDF or Word) that we parse to build your profile
• Cover letters and application materials you generate or submit
• Interview and application tracking data you enter
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe; we never store your card details

For employers

• Company information — name, size, industry, website
• Company Cultural Fingerprint — your culture dimension settings and values
• Job postings and role requirements
• Team member information you add to the org chart
• Billing and subscription information

Information we collect automatically

• Usage data — pages visited, features used, time spent
• Device information — browser type, operating system, screen size
• IP address and approximate location
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 8)

3. How we use your information

To provide and improve the platform

• Match you with relevant job opportunities based on your skills and Cultural Fingerprint
• Generate AI-powered resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn bios using your profile data
• Calculate match scores between candidates and employers
• Surface candidates to employers based on role requirements and culture fit
• Send interview reminders, application updates, and weekly job search summaries
• Improve our matching algorithms and AI models

AI processing disclosure

Rezna uses the Anthropic Claude API to power features including resume generation, cover letter writing, Cultural Fingerprint analysis, job matching explanations, and profile enhancement recommendations. Your data is sent to Anthropic's API to generate these outputs. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their handling of this data. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.

Communications

• Transactional emails — account confirmation, password reset, interview reminders
• Weekly job search summaries (candidates can unsubscribe)
• Product updates and feature announcements (you can opt out)
• Employer notifications when candidates match their roles

4. How we share your information

With employers (candidates)

When you apply to a role or your profile is surfaced in employer searches, we share your profile information — including your name, work history, skills, Cultural Fingerprint archetype, and match scores — with that employer. We do not share your exact Cultural Fingerprint dimension scores without your consent unless you apply to that employer's role.

With candidates (employers)

We share candidate profile information, Cultural Fingerprint data, and match scores with employers who are actively searching for candidates or who have posted roles matching a candidate's profile.

Service providers

We share data with trusted third-party services that help us operate Rezna:

• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
• Anthropic — AI processing for all generative features
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• JSearch / RapidAPI — job listing data aggregation
• Vercel — application hosting and infrastructure

All service providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only to provide services to Rezna.

We never sell your data

Rezna does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rezna, our users, or the public.

5. Your rights and choices

Access and portability

You can access and download your profile data, Cultural Fingerprint results, resumes, and application history at any time from your account settings.

Correction

You can update or correct your profile information directly in the app at any time.

Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data by going to Settings → Account → Delete Account. We will permanently delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.

Opt-out of communications

You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or in your notification settings. Transactional emails (like password resets) cannot be disabled while your account is active.

GDPR rights (European users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Contact privacy@rezna.ai to exercise these rights.

CCPA rights (California users)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of personal information, and opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information). Contact privacy@rezna.ai to exercise these rights.

6. Data security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure database infrastructure through Supabase with Row Level Security policies, and access controls that limit who within Rezna can access user data.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact security@rezna.ai immediately.

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days except where retention is required by law (such as financial records which we retain for 7 years per tax regulations).

Cultural Fingerprint data is retained as long as your account exists since it is core to our matching functionality. You can retake and update your assessment at any time.

8. Cookies

Rezna uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how you use the platform. We use:

• Essential cookies — required for authentication and security
• Analytics cookies — to understand feature usage and improve the product
• Preference cookies — to remember your settings

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from staying logged in.

9. Children's privacy

Rezna is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly. Contact privacy@rezna.ai if you believe we have inadvertently collected such information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app at least 14 days before changes take effect. Your continued use of Rezna after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
